Continue on Highway 12 for approximately 50 miles until you reach the junction with Highway 89. Turn left (north) onto Highway 89. After about 12 miles, you will see signs for Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Follow the signs and you will arrive at the visitor center, which is a great starting point for exploring.
