From Cedar City, UT, take Highway 14 east towards Duck Creek Village. Continue on Highway 14 until you reach Highway 89. Turn north onto Highway 89 and proceed until you reach the junction with Highway 12. Turn onto Highway 12 East towards Escalante and continue for about 22 miles. Look for signs for the Peek-a-boo slot canyon trailhead, which is located off the dirt road approximately 1.5 miles south of Highway 12. Park at the trailhead parking area (note: there may be a small parking fee). The hike to Peek-a-boo slot canyon is about 1 mile one way, and it can be steep and rocky, so be prepared with sturdy footwear.
