Car
From the nearest major road, take Highway 12 towards Boulder, UT. Follow Highway 12 for approximately 17 miles until you reach the intersection with the Burr Trail Road (UT-12). Turn onto Burr Trail Road and continue for about 13 miles. Look for the signed turnoff to the Neon Canyon trailhead. The trailhead is located at approximately 37.6151° N, 111.1628° W. There is limited parking available at the trailhead.
Hiking
From the Neon Canyon trailhead, the hike to Neon Canyon itself is about 1.5 miles. The trail is well marked and will take you through stunning landscapes. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and carry plenty of water, as the terrain can be challenging. The hike will lead you down into the canyon where you can explore the unique rock formations and enjoy the scenic beauty.
Public Transportation
Currently, public transportation options directly to Neon Canyon are limited. However, you can take a bus or shuttle service to the town of Escalante, UT. From Escalante, you may need to rent a car or arrange for a local taxi service to reach the Burr Trail Road and subsequently the Neon Canyon trailhead.
