Walking
If you are in downtown Moab, start at the Moab Information Center located at 25 E Center St. Head east on Center St towards Main St, then turn left onto Main St. Continue walking north until you reach the intersection with Utah 128. From there, follow Utah 128 for about 8 miles. As you walk, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery along the Colorado River. Eventually, you will see a sign for Lathrop Canyon Trail on your right. Follow the trailhead signs to enter Lathrop Canyon.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Moab, such as Moab Cyclery or Rim Tours. Start your journey from the shop and head east on Center St towards Main St. Turn left onto Main St and continue heading north to Utah 128. Once on Utah 128, bike approximately 8 miles. You'll pass stunning views along the Colorado River. Watch for the sign for Lathrop Canyon Trail on your right. Follow the signs to the trailhead entrance.
Public Transport
Check the local bus schedule for the Moab area. You will want to take the bus heading towards the entrance of Arches National Park. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Utah 128. Once you get off the bus, you'll need to walk about 1 mile north along Utah 128. Look for the sign indicating Lathrop Canyon Trail on your right side. Follow the signs to reach the trailhead.
