Getting There

    If you are driving, start from the Island in the Sky Visitor Center located at 1000 Sky Island Dr, Moab, UT 84532. Head south on UT-313 towards Canyonlands National Park. Continue on UT-313 for about 5 miles until you reach the entrance to Canyonlands National Park. After paying the entrance fee, follow the signs to the Island in the Sky district. Once you enter the park, keep driving straight on the main road for approximately 20 miles. Look for signs directing you to Lathrop Canyon Trail, which will be on your left. There is a parking area where you can leave your car before heading onto the trail.

    Using public transportation, your best option is to take a shuttle service that operates between Moab and Canyonlands National Park. Start at the Moab Visitor Center or any central location in Moab where shuttles are available. Look for the shuttle that goes to the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands.
