Walking
If you are starting from downtown Moab, head north on Main Street toward the intersection with Center Street. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Moab Information Center. From there, take the free Moab Area Transit System (MATS) shuttle that goes to the Arches National Park entrance. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the entrance, follow the signs for the Mesa Arch trailhead, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the visitor center.

For an adventurous route, rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in downtown Moab. Start by heading north on Main Street and take a left onto 100 North. Continue straight for about 2 miles until you reach the Arches National Park entrance. Once inside the park, follow the road to the Mesa Arch parking lot. The arch is about a 0.5-mile hike from the parking area.

From downtown Moab, walk to the nearest MATS shuttle stop, which is located at 100 North Main Street. Board the shuttle that is heading towards Arches National Park. Once you arrive at the park entrance, disembark and follow the signs to the Mesa Arch trailhead. The hike to the arch is approximately 0.5 miles from the parking area.
