Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from downtown Moab, head east on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with US-191. Turn left onto US-191 and walk for about 0.3 miles. You'll pass several shops and cafes along the way. After crossing the bridge over the Colorado River, look for the signs directing you to UT-211. Turn right onto UT-211. The Needles Visitor Center will be on your left after approximately 24 miles, just before entering Canyonlands National Park.

From downtown Moab, rent a bike from one of the local shops. Start on Main Street and bike east until you reach US-191. Turn left on US-191 and continue for about 0.3 miles. You will pass various local attractions and shops. After crossing the Colorado River, take a right onto UT-211. The Needles Visitor Center is located approximately 24 miles down UT-211 on your left, just before entering Canyonlands National Park. Ensure you have enough water and snacks for the ride.
