Walking
If you are starting from downtown Moab, head east on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with US-191. Turn left onto US-191 and walk for about 0.3 miles. You'll pass several shops and cafes along the way. After crossing the bridge over the Colorado River, look for the signs directing you to UT-211. Turn right onto UT-211. The Needles Visitor Center will be on your left after approximately 24 miles, just before entering Canyonlands National Park.
Biking
From downtown Moab, rent a bike from one of the local shops. Start on Main Street and bike east until you reach US-191. Turn left on US-191 and continue for about 0.3 miles. You will pass various local attractions and shops. After crossing the Colorado River, take a right onto UT-211. The Needles Visitor Center is located approximately 24 miles down UT-211 on your left, just before entering Canyonlands National Park. Ensure you have enough water and snacks for the ride.
Public Transit
Currently, there is limited public transit in Moab, so check the local shuttle services. If a shuttle service is available, catch it from the designated stop in downtown Moab. Inform the driver that you are heading to the Needles Visitor Center. The shuttle will take you along UT-211, and the ride should take about 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the schedule and availability ahead of time.
