Walking from Mt. Carmel to Sand Hollow State Park is quite a long trek, approximately 12 miles. Start by heading south on UT-89. After about 10 miles, you will reach Hurricane. From the center of Hurricane, follow the signs to Sand Hollow Road and walk west for 3 miles until you reach the park entrance on your left. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.

Unfortunately, there are no direct public transport options from Mt. Carmel to Sand Hollow State Park. However, you can take a bus from Mt. Carmel to St. George.
