Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Mt. Carmel, head southwest on S 100 E toward E 100 N. Continue straight onto E 100 N, which will lead you out of town. After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto US-89 S. Continue walking along US-89 S for approximately 7 miles. Once you reach the intersection with UT-9, turn left onto UT-9 E. Follow UT-9 E for about 8 miles until you enter Hurricane, UT. As you approach Hurricane, look for the address 51 1000 W #6. Visit Zion will be located on your left. Total walking distance is approximately 15 miles.

  • Biking

    Starting from Mt. Carmel, rent a bike if you do not have one. Begin your journey by heading southwest on S 100 E toward E 100 N. Continue straight to merge onto E 100 N and follow it as it leads you out of town. After 0.5 miles, take a right onto US-89 S. Continue biking for about 7 miles along US-89 S. At the junction with UT-9 E, turn left onto UT-9 E. Follow this road for approximately 8 miles until you reach Hurricane. Look for the address 51 1000 W #6 on your left. The entire biking route is about 15 miles, and it should take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your biking speed.

  • Public Transport

    From Mt. Carmel, you will need to find a local shuttle or bus service that operates to Hurricane. Check with local tourism offices or ask locals for the nearest shuttle stop. Once you board, inform the driver that you are headed to Hurricane. The journey typically takes about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Hurricane, get off at a stop close to 51 1000 W. From there, it will only be a short walk to Visit Zion, where you will find it located at 51 1000 W #6 on your left.
