Walking
The Watchman Trailhead is easily accessible from the Zion Canyon Visitor Center. From the visitor center plaza, walk past the shuttle stop towards the crosswalk. Cross the road and follow the signs for the Watchman Trail, which will lead you along the Virgin River. The trail begins on the east bank of the Virgin River.

Public Transport
If arriving via the Springdale Shuttle, exit at Zion Canyon Village, the last stop, and walk to the Zion Canyon Visitor Center. From there, follow the walking directions to the trailhead. The Zion Canyon Shuttle also starts at the visitor center, providing access to other parts of the park. There is no fee for the Zion National Park and Springdale town shuttles. The SunTran Zion Route provides access from St. George to the park with stops in surrounding cities.

Parking
Parking is available at the Zion Canyon Visitor Center. However, the parking lot often fills up quickly, especially during peak season. If the visitor center lot is full, consider parking in the town of Springdale and taking the free town shuttle to the park's pedestrian entrance. Paid parking lots are available in Springdale as a last resort. Zion National Park entrance fees are required. A 7-day pass costs $35 per vehicle.
