Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at 2nd Avenue and E Street, which is a central point in The Avenues. Head east on 2nd Avenue for one block until you reach the intersection with S Street. Turn left onto S Street and continue until you reach 4th Avenue. Take a right on 4th Avenue and walk up the hill until you intersect with the Philo T. Farnsworth Promenade. The Mormon Battalion Monument will be on your left, near the top of the hill, offering a beautiful view of the Salt Lake Valley.
