If you are driving from the nearest major town, which is Price, Utah, head west on US-6 for approximately 20 miles until you reach the junction with I-70. Take I-70 westbound for about 25 miles. Take exit 149 for UT-24 toward Hanksville. Continue on UT-24 for about 15 miles until you see the sign for the San Rafael Swell area. At the entrance of the Swell, follow the signs to Swasey Cabin. You'll need to drive on unpaved roads, so a high-clearance vehicle is recommended. The cabin is located at approximately 38.8357° N latitude and -110.8075° W longitude. Note that the last few miles may require some navigation on dirt trails.
