Experience Timpanogos Cave National Monument

Getting There

  • Car

    From Sundance, Utah, head east on UT-92 E. Follow UT-92 E for approximately 14 miles until you reach the intersection with US-89. Turn left onto US-89 N and continue for about 5 miles. You will then take a right onto E Alpine Loop Rd. Stay on E Alpine Loop Rd for about 2 miles until you see the entrance to Timpanogos Cave National Monument on your left. There is a parking area available, but please note that there may be a parking fee.

  • Public Transportation

    From Sundance, you may need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach the nearest public transportation hub, which is located in Provo. From Provo, take the Utah Valley Express (UVX) bus towards Orem. Get off at the nearest stop to US-89. From there, you may need to walk approximately 1 mile to reach the intersection with E Alpine Loop Rd, where you can follow the directions provided for cars to reach Timpanogos Cave National Monument.
