Walking
From the center of Torrey, head south on Main Street towards the intersection with UT-24. Turn left onto UT-24 and walk east for about 1.5 miles until you reach the junction of UT-24 and I-70. Continue on UT-24, and after a short distance, you will find a trailhead on your right that leads towards Salt Wash View Area. Follow the trail for about 0.5 miles until you reach the viewpoint overlooking the canyons.

Start in Torrey and head south on Main Street, then make a left onto UT-24. Follow UT-24 east for about 1.5 miles. You’ll see a bike path that connects to the Salt Wash View Area. Ride along the bike path; it will take you directly to the viewpoint. The biking distance from Torrey to the viewpoint is approximately 2 miles, and the ride is scenic and enjoyable.
