If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Salt Lake City. Head west on W 400 S toward S 200 W. Turn right onto S 200 W and continue for about 1.5 miles. Merge onto I-15 S toward Las Vegas. After approximately 1.4 miles, take exit 308B for I-80 E toward Cheyenne. Continue on I-80 E for about 4 miles and take exit 121A for US-89 S toward Provo. Follow US-89 S for about 6 miles, then take the exit toward Philo T. Farnsworth Promenade. The Mormon Battalion Monument will be located at the end of the promenade. Parking is available nearby, though some lots may charge a small fee (typically around $5).
