Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the main entrance of the Ichan Kala (the old town), head east towards the Tashkent Gate. Walk through the gate and continue straight. You will see the beautiful blue-tiled walls of the Allakuli Khan Madrassah coming into view on your left side after approximately 5 minutes of walking.

From the Khiva Fortress, exit through the western gate and turn left. Walk along the outer wall of the fortress towards the Tashkent Gate. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the gate and see the Allakuli Khan Madrassah directly ahead on your left as you enter the old town.

If you are at the Pakhlavan Makhmud Mausoleum, exit the mausoleum and head northwest towards the main street. Turn right and walk along the street until you reach the Tashkent Gate. After about 10 minutes, you will see the Allakuli Khan Madrassah on your left.
