Getting There

Walking
If you're in Dishan Kala, start by heading southeast on the main road towards the city center. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the road leading into Ichan Kala (the historic inner city of Khiva). Turn left at the intersection and follow the road. After about 500 meters, you will see the entrance to Ichan Kala on your right. Enter through the gates and walk down the main street, which is lined with shops and historical sites. Allakuli Khan Madrassah is approximately 300 meters straight ahead on your left side, just past the Kalta Minor Minaret.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Dishan Kala. Once you have your bike, head southeast along the main road towards the city center. After about 1 kilometer, turn left at the intersection leading to Ichan Kala. Continue riding straight into Ichan Kala. The Allakuli Khan Madrassah is about 300 meters ahead on your left side. Remember to lock your bicycle at one of the bike racks available near the madrassah.

Local Transport (Tuk-Tuk)
You can also take a local tuk-tuk to reach Allakuli Khan Madrassah. Find a tuk-tuk stop in Dishan Kala, and tell the driver you want to go to Ichan Kala. The ride should cost around 10,000 to 15,000 UZS (Uzbek Som) depending on your starting point. The driver will drop you off at the entrance of Ichan Kala, from where you would need to walk about 300 meters straight ahead, and you’ll find the madrassah on your left side.
