Der Reiseablauf war sehr gut durchdacht und sehr gelungen. Wir konnten alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten bei einem angenehmen Reisetempo besichtigen. Die gesamte Organisation war ebenso sehr gut. Wir hatten zwei sehr gute und freundliche Fahrer gehabt, die nicht nur perfekt auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen sind, sondern auch sehr informativ waren. Olim hat sich ebenfalls hervorragend um uns gekümmert. Er verfügt über ein beeindruckendes Wissen über die Aralsee Region und das historische Xorazm, das sich auch in der sorgfältigen Gestaltung unseres Reiseprogramms widerspiegelte.

A unique experience in the Uzbek desert

We took a 2-day tour starting from Khiva to discover the 7 fortresses of the desert, and it was a really great experience. The sites are spectacular, rich in history, and offer breathtaking landscapes. The organization by Oxus Travel was very well thought out, with clear and interesting explanations throughout the journey. We learned about life in the desert as well as local customs. The pace is pleasant and allows you to truly enjoy each fortress. Arriving in the late afternoon at the yurt camp, we enjoyed beautiful light and a hearty meal, as well as stargazing. Calm, a change of scenery, and friendliness were all present!

Desert experience

It was an amazing experience sleeping in the desert in a yurta. Drinking camel milk was awesome :)!!! The food was also delicious and the camp was very clean and tidy.
