Walking
If you're starting from the center of Khiva, head south towards the main square, known as the 'Registan'. Once you reach the square, look for the large, blue-tiled building on your right, which is the Islam Khodja Complex. From there, continue walking south along the main street, which will lead you through the historic part of the city. As you pass by various shops and cafes, keep an eye out for signs that direct you towards 'Juma Mosque'. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach a small intersection. Turn left at the intersection, and the mosque will be located a short distance ahead on your right.
Walking
Another option is to start from the Tashkent Gate, which is one of the main entrances to the old city. From the Tashkent Gate, walk straight down the main alley, passing by the ancient city walls on your left. Continue straight for about 15 minutes, enjoying the sights along the way. After passing a few smaller mosques and local stalls, you will arrive at a larger square. Juma Mosque is located directly in front of you as you enter the square. It's easily recognizable by its distinctive architecture.
