Start at the main square in Khiva, known as the 'Khiva Bazaar'. From the Bazaar, head southeast towards the entrance of the Ichan Kala (the old town). Once inside Ichan Kala, follow the main path that leads to the Kalta Minor Minaret, a prominent landmark. From the minaret, continue walking south until you reach the Djuma Mosque. From the Djuma Mosque, head east towards the outer perimeter of Ichan Kala, where you will see the Outer City Wall. The wall runs along the edge of the old town, so you can walk along it to explore.

If you are starting from the Tashkent Gate, exit the gate and walk directly south along the main road. This road will lead you towards the Outer City Wall. As you walk, you will see several historical buildings on your left. Continue straight until you reach the wall, which will be on your right.
