    From the center of Itchan Kala, head towards the main entrance of the historic fortress, which is marked by a large gate. Once you pass through the gate, continue straight along the main pathway. You will see various historical sites along the way. Keep walking until you reach a large square called 'Kalta Minor' on your left. From Kalta Minor, walk towards the 'Kunya-Ark' Citadel. The Khiva Ichan Kala is located just a short distance from the citadel, on Qo‘qon Ko'chasi. Look for the signs indicating the direction to Khiva Ichan Kala.

  • Local Transport (Bicycle Rental)

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Itchan Kala. Once you have your bicycle, head towards the main road leading out of Itchan Kala. Cycle straight towards the direction of Kalta Minor. After passing Kalta Minor, take a right onto Qo‘qon Ko'chasi. Khiva Ichan Kala will be on your right. Bicycle rentals typically cost around 20,000 UZS for a couple of hours.

  • Horse-drawn Cart (Marshrutka)

    In Khiva, you can also find horse-drawn carts. These carts are a unique way to explore the area. To catch a cart, go to the main square near the entrance of Itchan Kala. Ask the driver for a ride to Khiva Ichan Kala, which should cost approximately 30,000 UZS per person.
