Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Registan Square, head east towards the crossroads and continue straight on Gulbazar Street. After about 600 meters, turn left onto Universitetskiy Boulevard. Continue walking for about 1 km, and you will see the entrance to the Amir Temur Mausoleum Gur-i Amir Complex on your right. The mausoleum is well-signposted, and you can easily identify it by its striking blue dome.

    From the Shah-i-Zinda complex, exit and walk back towards the main road (Alisher Navoi Street). Turn right and walk approximately 1.2 km until you reach the intersection with Bustonsaroy Street. Turn left onto Bustonsaroy Street, and after about 300 meters, you will find the Amir Temur Mausoleum Gur-i Amir Complex on your left.

    If you are at the Samarkand Train Station, exit the station and head east towards the main road. Take a right onto the road and continue straight for about 2 km until you reach Universitetskiy Boulevard. Turn left and walk about 500 meters, and the mausoleum will be on your left.

    From Bibi Khanym Mosque, walk towards the main road and take a left onto Alisher Navoi Street. Walk for about 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with Universitetskiy Boulevard. Turn right onto Universitetskiy Boulevard and walk about 700 meters; the Amir Temur Mausoleum Gur-i Amir Complex will be on your right.
