The square is located at Mustakillik Square, which will be on your right after crossing a small intersection.

If you prefer to take public transport, find the nearest bus stop on Islam Karimov Street. Look for buses heading towards Mustakillik Square (route numbers can vary, so ask locals or check the bus stop signs). The fare is typically around 1,000 UZS. Once on the bus, stay on for about 3-4 stops. Get off at the Mustakillik Square stop, and you will be just a short walk away from Independence Square.

To use the metro, locate the nearest Shaykhantakhur metro station, which is likely to be the 'Ming Orik' station. Buy a ticket for 1,200 UZS from the ticket counter or machine. Take the metro towards the 'Alisher Navoi' station, and transfer to the 'Uzbekistan' line toward 'Chilonzor'. Get off at 'Mustakillik Square' station. Exit the station, and you will be directly at Independence Square.
