If you are in the center of Urgench, start at the main square (Shahrisabz Street). Head southwest on Shahrisabz Street towards the intersection with Tashkent Street. Turn left onto Tashkent Street and continue walking straight for about 1.5 km until you reach the entrance to Khiva. Once you enter Khiva, follow the main road until you see the well-marked signs for Mohammed Amin Khan Madrassah, which will be on your right side.

From the central bus station in Urgench, take a minibus (marshrutka) heading towards Khiva. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Khiva, disembark at the main square (Itchan Kala). From there, it's a 10-minute walk: exit the square, head towards the main entrance of Itchan Kala, and then follow the signs leading to Mohammed Amin Khan Madrassah, which is located inside the historical fortress.
