Getting There

Walking
From the Sistine Chapel, exit the Vatican Museums and head towards the main entrance. Once outside, turn right and walk towards the entrance of St. Peter's Basilica. Continue walking along the right side of St. Peter's Square until you reach the Via della Conciliazione. Cross this street and proceed straight ahead until you reach the end of the street. You will see the River Tiber. At this point, turn left and walk along the riverbank for a short distance. When you reach the first bridge, Ponte Sant'Angelo, cross it. After crossing the bridge, continue straight until you reach the Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Turn right, and the Basilica of Sant'Andrea della Valle will be on your left.

Public Transport
From the Sistine Chapel, exit the Vatican Museums and walk towards the nearest bus stop located on the Via di Porta Cavalleggeri. Catch bus number 40 or 64 towards Termini Station. After about 10-15 minutes, disembark at the stop called 'Piazza Cavour'. From there, walk down Via del Teatro di Pompeo, continue onto Via dei Baullari, and then turn left onto Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. The Basilica of Sant'Andrea della Valle will be on your right side.
