    Getting There

    Walking

    From the Sistine Chapel, exit the chapel and head towards the main exit of the Vatican Museums. Once you are outside, turn left and follow the pathway to the entrance of St. Peter's Basilica. Continue straight until you reach the end of the pathway, where you will see the grand St. Peter's Square. From there, proceed to the right side of the square towards Via della Conciliazione. Continue walking straight along this road, and after about a 10-15 minute walk, you will arrive at Piazza del Risorgimento.

    After leaving the Sistine Chapel, if you prefer a more scenic route, exit the chapel and take a right towards the Gardens of Vatican City. Walk along the edge of the gardens, which will lead you to a small path. Follow this path until you reach the end, then turn left and walk towards Via della Conciliazione. Once you reach the main road, turn right and continue walking straight for approximately 15 minutes until you reach Piazza del Risorgimento.

    Public Transport (Bus)

    From the Sistine Chapel, exit and walk back towards the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. Once outside, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Via della Conciliazione. Take bus number 62 or 81, which will take you directly towards the center of Rome. Get off at the stop named 'Piazza Cavour', and from there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Piazza del Risorgimento. Simply walk towards the north along Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, then turn right onto Via del Banco di Santo Spirito until you reach your destination.
