Getting There

  • Walking

    From the entrance of the Sistine Chapel, exit and head towards the main corridor of the Vatican Museums. Continue straight until you reach the exit of the Museums. Once outside, turn left and walk along Viale Vaticano. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Conciliazione. Cross this street, then take a right onto Via della Conciliazione. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Piazza San Pietro. From there, head towards the right side of the square and look for Via dei Corridori, which leads you to the Quirinal Obelisk located at P.za del Quirinale. The walk is approximately 20-25 minutes in total.

    After visiting the Sistine Chapel, exit and head towards the entrance of the Vatican Museums. Once outside, walk to the nearest bus stop at Piazza San Pietro. Board Bus 64 towards Termini Station. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop 'Piazza Venezia'. From there, walk towards Via del Corso, then take a left on Via Nazionale. Continue walking straight until you reach P.za del Quirinale, where the Quirinal Obelisk is located. This journey will take around 30-40 minutes including the bus ride.
