    Walking

    From the Sistine Chapel, exit through the main entrance. Once outside, proceed towards the Vatican Museums entrance, which is located just a short walk away. As you walk, keep the Vatican City walls on your left. Continue walking until you reach the Cortile del Belvedere, which is where the Vatican Apostolic Archive is located. The entrance to the Archive can be found at the far end of the courtyard.
