Walking

From the main entrance of St. Peter's Basilica, head out into St. Peter's Square. Once you are in the square, face the basilica and walk towards the obelisk located in the center of the square. From the obelisk, exit St. Peter's Square through the bronze doors on your right side. Continue walking straight on Via della Conciliazione until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river via the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. After crossing the bridge, continue straight on Via di Ripetta. When you reach Piazza del Popolo, turn left onto Via del Corso. Walk along Via del Corso until you reach the intersection with Via del Boccaccio. Turn right onto Via del Boccaccio and follow this road until it becomes Via di San Giovanni in Laterano. Continue walking straight until you reach the Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano. From there, you can take the Metro Line A from the nearby San Giovanni station towards Anagnina. Alight at the Subaugusta station, then walk approximately 15 minutes to reach Acquedotto Acqua Marcia located on Circonvallazione Tuscolana.
Public Transport

From St. Peter's Basilica, walk towards the nearest Metro station, Ottaviano - San Pietro. Take the Metro Line A towards Anagnina. After 7 stops, alight at the Subaugusta station. Once you exit the station, turn left onto Via di Torrenova. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Circonvallazione Tuscolana. Acquedotto Acqua Marcia will be on your left. Make sure to check the current Metro schedule and operating hours.
