Exit St. Peter's Basilica through the main entrance. Once outside, turn left and walk towards the main street, Via della Conciliazione. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Sant'Angelo. After crossing, continue straight onto Via di Ponte Sant'Angelo. Walk for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Via dei Banchi Nuovi. Turn left onto Via dei Banchi Nuovi, then take the first right onto Via di San Lorenzo in Lucina. Follow this street until you reach Piazza Mattei, where you will find Fontana delle Tartarughe.

From St. Peter's Basilica, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Via della Conciliazione. Take the bus number 87 towards 'Valle Aurelia' and travel for 4 stops. Get off at 'Piazza Navona' bus stop. From there, walk towards Corso del Rinascimento, and continue straight for about 500 meters. Turn left onto Via dei Banchi Nuovi and then the first right onto Via di San Lorenzo in Lucina. Finally, walk straight until you arrive at Piazza Mattei, where Fontana delle Tartarughe is located.
