    Exit St. Peter's Basilica from the main entrance. Once outside, turn left and walk along the Via della Conciliazione. Continue straight until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the bridge (Ponte Sant'Angelo) to reach the other side. After crossing, continue straight on Via di Panico until you reach Piazza Navona. From Piazza Navona, head north on Via della Pace until you reach Via del Corso. Turn right on Via del Corso and continue until you reach the intersection with Via del Tritone. Turn left onto Via del Tritone, and then take a right onto Via del Boccaccio. Follow the road until you reach Piazzale Scipione Borghese, where Galleria Borghese is located.

    From St. Peter's Basilica, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at Via della Conciliazione. Take bus number 64 towards 'Staz. Termini'. Ride for 4 stops and get off at the 'Piazzale Flaminio' stop. Once there, transfer to tram line 2 towards 'Giardini Villa Borghese'. Ride for 2 stops and get off at 'Piazzale Scipione Borghese'. From there, Galleria Borghese is a short walk away.

    Exit St. Peter's Basilica and head towards the Vatican Museums entrance located nearby. From there, exit the Vatican Museums on Viale Vaticano. Turn right and continue on Viale Vaticano until you reach Via di Porta Angelica. Continue straight until you reach Via della Stazione di San Pietro; turn left. Walk to Via della Conciliazione and follow the same route as described in the walking guidance above.
