    From the Sistine Chapel, exit the chapel and head towards the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. Once outside, turn left and walk towards the entrance of St. Peter's Basilica. After visiting the Basilica, continue walking towards the Piazza San Pietro. From there, head southwest towards Via della Conciliazione until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Sant'Angelo. After crossing the bridge, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via di Ripetta. Turn left onto Via di Ripetta and follow it until you reach Via del Corso. After that, you will turn right onto Via del Corso. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via del Plebiscito. Turn left and then continue straight to reach the end of Via del Plebiscito, where you will find the entrance to the Villa Borghese park. Walk through the park towards Piazzale del Giardino Zoologico, which is where the Bioparco di Roma is located.

  • Public Transport

    From the Sistine Chapel, walk to the Ottaviano metro station (about a 10-minute walk). Exit the Vatican Museums and head towards Via Ottaviano, then turn left. When you reach the metro station, take Line A towards Anagnina. Travel for two stops and get off at the Flaminio station. From Flaminio station, exit towards Piazza del Popolo. Once you are outside, head east on Via del Corso until you reach the intersection with Via di Ripetta. Turn left onto Via di Ripetta and follow it until you reach Via del Plebiscito. Continue straight to reach the Villa Borghese park, and make your way to Piazzale del Giardino Zoologico, where the Bioparco di Roma is located.
