Getting There

Walking
Exit St. Peter's Basilica from the main entrance. Once outside, you will be in St. Peter's Square. Head towards the right side of the square, walking past the colonnade. Continue walking straight along Via della Conciliazione. As you reach the end of this street, you will find yourself at the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. After crossing, turn left and follow the riverbank until you reach the bridge Ponte Umberto I. Cross this bridge and head straight, which will lead you onto Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Continue walking straight until you reach Piazza Navona. From Piazza Navona, take Via della Scrofa and continue walking until you reach Via del Corso. Turn left on Via del Corso and proceed until you reach Piazza Venezia. At Piazza Venezia, take the right onto Via del Teatro di Marcello. Continue straight until you arrive at the Quirinal Palace, located at P.za del Quirinale.

Public Transport (Bus)
From St. Peter's Basilica, exit and walk to the nearest bus stop at 'Piazza San Pietro'. Take bus number 64 in the direction of 'Stazione Termini'. Ride the bus for approximately 15 minutes until you reach 'Piazza Venezia'. Once you arrive at Piazza Venezia, you will need to walk a short distance to reach the Quirinal Palace. Head away from the bus stop towards Via del Corso, then turn right and continue straight until you reach the Quirinal Palace at P.za del Quirinale.

Public Transport (Metro)
Walk from St. Peter's Basilica to the Ottaviano-San Pietro Metro Station, which is about a 15-minute walk. Exit the Basilica and walk down Via della Conciliazione towards the Metro station. Once at the station, take Line A (the orange line) towards 'Anagnina'. After 4 stops, get off at 'Termini' station. At Termini, transfer to Line B (the blue line) and take the train towards 'Laurentina'. Get off at 'Cavour' station. Exit the station and walk straight along Via Cavour, which will lead you to Via del Quirinale. Continue straight until you reach the Quirinal Palace.
