Walking
From St. Peter's Square, exit the square towards the main entrance of St. Peter's Basilica. Once you are outside, turn left and walk along Via della Conciliazione. Continue straight until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. After crossing, turn right and follow the riverbank until you reach the next bridge, Ponte della Repubblica. Continue walking along the street until you reach the intersection with Via Ostiense. Turn left onto Via Ostiense and walk straight for about 1.5 km. The Centrale Montemartini will be on your left at Via Ostiense, 106.

Public Transport
From St. Peter's Square, walk towards the Ottaviano Metro Station, which is about a 15-minute walk away. Once at the station, take the Metro Line A (the red line) towards Anagnina. Get off at the Termini station (3 stops). At Termini, switch to Metro Line B (the blue line) and take it towards Laurentina. Get off at the Garbatella station and exit the station. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Centrale Montemartini: head southeast on Via delle Cave towards Via Ostiense, turn right onto Via Ostiense and walk for about 800 meters. The museum will be on your right at Via Ostiense, 106.
