Walking
From St. Peter's Basilica, face the square and walk towards the central obelisk. Once you reach the obelisk, turn left and head towards the colonnade. Continue walking along the left side of the square, keeping the basilica on your right. Walk through the archway leading out of St. Peter's Square, and you will find yourself on Via della Conciliazione. Continue walking straight until you reach the end of this road. At the end of Via della Conciliazione, you will come to a large intersection. From there, take a left onto Via di Porta Castello. Walk straight for a few minutes, and you will see the Fountain of the Cannonballs located on your left side.
