Walking
From St. Peter's Square, face the grand St. Peter's Basilica. Walk towards the right side of the Basilica, heading towards the colonnade. Exit through the colonnade and continue on the path which leads you to Via della Conciliazione. Once you reach Via della Conciliazione, turn left and walk straight. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via di Porta Angelica. Turn right onto Via di Porta Angelica and walk until you reach the junction with Via della Stazione di San Pietro. Continue until you see Piazza Pia on your left. The journey should take about 15 minutes.
