Getting There

    Exit St. Peter's Basilica through the main entrance, which is the large door facing St. Peter's Square. Once outside, head straight across St. Peter's Square towards the colonnades. Walk through the colonnades, keeping the basilica on your left, until you reach the far end of the square. From there, you will see the entrance to Via della Conciliazione. Walk down Via della Conciliazione, keeping an eye out for the entrance to the Tiber River on your right. Cross the bridge over the Tiber River, called Ponte Sant'Angelo. After crossing, continue straight onto Lungotevere Castello and then take a left onto Via di Porta Castello. This road will lead you to Piazza delle Vaschette where Plaza de los Vascos is located. The plaza should be on your left as you walk along this street.
