From St. Peter's Square, head towards the main entrance of St. Peter's Basilica. As you exit the square, turn right onto Via della Conciliazione. Walk straight along this road until you reach the end, where you'll see the Tiber River. Cross the bridge (Ponte Sant'Angelo) to your left. Once you cross the bridge, continue straight and take the first left onto Via di Monte Brianzo. Follow this street until you reach the end, then turn right onto Viale Gabriele D'Annunzio. Passeggiata del Pincio will be on your left.

Alternatively, from St. Peter's Square, exit towards Via della Conciliazione but instead of turning right, head straight towards the Castel Sant'Angelo. Once you reach the castle, walk around it and head up the hill towards the Pincio Gardens. Follow the signs for Passeggiata del Pincio. You'll find beautiful views and the entrance to the park right there.

Although public transport is not necessary due to the proximity, if you prefer, from St. Peter's Square, head to the nearest bus stop located on Via della Conciliazione. Catch bus number 81 towards 'Piazza Venezia'. Get off at the second stop 'Piazza Cavour'. From there, walk towards the park by heading left on Via dei Serpenti and then right onto Via Gabriele D'Annunzio until you reach Passeggiata del Pincio.
