From the Vatican Gardens, exit the gardens and head towards the entrance gate. Once you are outside, walk towards the main road, Viale Vaticano. Turn right and follow this road until you reach the intersection with Via di Porta Angelica. Continue straight onto Via di Porta Angelica, which will lead you to the main street, Via dei Gracchi. Turn left onto Via dei Gracchi and walk straight until you reach the large intersection with Via Cola di Rienzo. Cross the street and continue straight, which will lead you to Piazza del Risorgimento. From here, take the bus or walk to your next destination.

After exiting the Vatican Gardens, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Viale Vaticano. Look for the bus number 81 or 492 that heads towards the city center. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop at Via Venti Settembre. Disembark at this stop and you will find the Church of Santa Maria della Vittoria located at Via Venti Settembre, 17. It is just a short walk from the bus stop.
