Getting There

Walking
From Vatican Necropolis, exit the site and head towards St. Peter's Basilica. Once you reach the Basilica, walk towards the main square, Piazza San Pietro. At the square, you will find the large colonnades surrounding the area. Continue walking straight towards the street that leads to Via della Conciliazione. Follow this road until you reach the Tiber River. At the river, turn left and follow the path along the riverbank. Keep walking until you reach the bridge called Ponte Sant'Angelo. Cross the bridge, and you will find yourself on the other side of the river. After crossing, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via di Torre Argentina. Turn right onto Via di Torre Argentina and follow it until you reach the intersection with Via del Tritone. From here, turn left onto Via del Tritone and continue walking until you reach P.za Barberini, which will be on your left.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Vatican Necropolis, make your way to the nearest bus stop, which is located along Via della Conciliazione. Board bus number 87 towards 'L.go di Torre Argentina'. After approximately 15 minutes, disembark at the Barberini stop. Once you exit the bus, you will find yourself at P.za Barberini. Look for the large fountain in the center of the square as your landmark.

From Vatican Necropolis, walk to the nearest metro station, Ottaviano, which is about a 15-minute walk. Once at the Ottaviano station, purchase a metro ticket and take Line A (the orange line) towards Anagnina. After two stops, get off at the Barberini station. When you exit the station, you will be at P.za Barberini. You can recognize the square by the famous Triton Fountain located there.
