    From the entrance of Vatican Gardens, head towards the main exit gate. Once you exit, turn right onto Viale Vaticano. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via di Porta Angelica. At this intersection, turn left and follow the road until you reach the entrance of the Vatican Museums. Here, you can catch a bus or tram that will take you toward Ostia Antica.

    After exiting Vatican Gardens and reaching Viale Vaticano, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Viale Vaticano. Board the bus number 49, which will take you to the 'Cornelia' metro station. From there, switch to Line A (the orange line) towards 'Anagnina' and get off at 'Termini' station. At Termini, transfer to Line B (the blue line) towards 'Laurentina' and get off at 'Ostia Antica'. The archaeological site will be a short walk from the metro exit.

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can also take a taxi. After exiting Vatican Gardens, head to the main road where you can find a taxi stand. Request a taxi to take you to Ostia Antica, located at Viale dei Romagnoli, 717. The journey should take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic.
