Walk out of the library grounds, and you will see the magnificent dome of St. Peter's Basilica directly ahead. Follow the path leading towards the basilica, and as you approach, you will find the St. Peter's Baldachin inside the church, right beneath the dome.

If you are starting from a different location in Vatican City, the nearest metro station is Ottaviano-San Pietro. Take Metro Line A towards Anagnina. Get off at the Ottaviano stop, and exit the station. Walk straight down Via Ottaviano until you reach Piazza San Pietro. The St. Peter's Baldachin is located inside St. Peter's Basilica, which you will see as you reach the square.
