    From the Vatican Museums, exit the main entrance and head south towards the Via Leone IV. Once you reach Via Leone IV, turn left and continue walking until you reach Piazza San Pietro (St. Peter's Square). Once at the square, walk towards the southern end where you will find the Via della Conciliazione. Continue straight on this road until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river via the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. After crossing, turn left and stroll along the riverbank until you reach Ponte Sisto, which is a beautiful pedestrian bridge connecting to Trastevere.

    From the Vatican Museums, walk to the Ottaviano metro station, which is about a 15-minute walk. Once at the station, take Line A (the orange line) towards Anagnina. Travel for three stops and get off at the Barberini station. Then transfer to Line B (the blue line) at the Termini station. Take Line B towards Laurentina and get off at the Piramide station. From there, exit the station and walk towards the Tiber River. You can walk along the river until you reach Ponte Sisto.
