Walking
From the entrance of the Vatican Necropolis, head east towards the Vatican Museums. As you exit the Necropolis area, continue along the path that leads you to Viale Vaticano. Follow Viale Vaticano until you reach Piazza San Pietro, which is the main square in front of St. Peter's Basilica. Once in Piazza San Pietro, take the exit towards Via della Conciliazione. Walk down Via della Conciliazione until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river via the Ponte Sant'Angelo. After crossing, follow the signs towards the historic center, and continue straight onto Via della Pace. You will eventually arrive at Piazza di Trevi, where the Trevi Fountain is located.

Public Transport
Start at the entrance of the Vatican Necropolis and walk to the nearest bus stop, which should be located on Via dei Corridori. Catch bus number 62 or 81, which will take you towards the Termini Station. Get off at the stop called 'Piazza Venezia'. From there, it’s a short walk to the Trevi Fountain. Head towards Via del Corso, and take a left onto Via delle Muratte. Continue walking straight until you reach Piazza di Trevi.
