Getting There

Walking
From the exit of Vatican Necropolis, head towards the main entrance of St. Peter's Basilica. Once you reach the basilica, walk around the exterior towards the right side where you will find a set of stairs leading up to the Vatican Museums. At the top of the stairs, continue straight until you reach the entrance of the Vatican Museums. After entering the museums, follow the signs that lead towards the Cortile del Belvedere. The Vatican Apostolic Archive is located in the Cortile del Belvedere area, which is accessible from the Vatican Museums.

Alternatively, you can exit the Vatican Necropolis and make your way to the nearby Piazza San Pietro. From the piazza, walk towards the right (facing St. Peter's Basilica) along Via della Conciliazione until you reach the entrance to the Vatican Museums. Enter the museums and navigate to the Cortile del Belvedere, where the Vatican Apostolic Archive is located.
