St. Peter's Peach: A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Rome

Getting There

• Walking

  From the Vatican Obelisk, head southwest towards the entrance of St. Peter's Basilica. Walk straight down Via della Conciliazione, which will lead you directly to the basilica entrance. Once you reach the steps of St. Peter's Basilica, you'll find St. Peter's Peach located at Via delle Fornaci, 2, just a short walk away. It’s approximately a 10-minute walk (about 800 meters).

• Bus

  If you prefer taking public transport, you can catch Bus Line 64 from the nearest bus stop to the Vatican Obelisk, which is located on Via della Conciliazione. Board the bus heading towards Stazione Termini and get off at the stop named 'Piazza San Pietro'. From there, it’s a short walk to St. Peter's Peach at Via delle Fornaci, 2. Be sure to check the bus schedules as they may vary. A single bus ticket costs €1.50.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, you can take a taxi from the Vatican Obelisk to St. Peter's Peach. Simply hail a taxi on the street or use a taxi app. The ride should take approximately 5 minutes depending on traffic and will cost around €7-€10.

• Metro

  You can also take the Metro. From the nearest metro station, Ottaviano-San Pietro, take Metro Line A towards Anagnina. Alight at the next stop, then walk back towards St. Peter's Basilica. From there, head to Via delle Fornaci, 2. A metro ticket costs €1.50.
