Car
If you're traveling by car, head toward Burlington, Vermont. From the center of the Green Mountains, take Route 7 North. Continue on Route 7 until you reach the intersection with Main Street in Burlington. Turn left onto Main Street and follow it until you reach Battery Park Extension. The park will be on your right. There is free street parking available in the area, but be mindful of parking regulations.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, check the Green Mountain Transit bus schedules. You can catch the bus from various locations in the Green Mountains to Burlington. Look for the bus routes that head to 'Downtown Burlington'. Once you arrive at the bus station in Burlington, Battery Park is a short walk from the station. Exit the station and head west on Main Street. Continue straight for about half a mile, and you'll see Battery Park on your left. Note that bus fares vary, so check the current rates on the Green Mountain Transit website before your trip.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous and have a bicycle, consider biking to Battery Park. Several bike paths connect the Green Mountains to Burlington. If you're staying nearby in Burlington or have arrived via public transport, walking to Battery Park is a pleasant option. From downtown Burlington, head west on Main Street. Continue on Main Street until you reach Battery Park Extension. The walk is about 15-20 minutes, and you'll get to enjoy some local shops and dining along the way.
