Car
From Smugglers' Notch State Park, head east on VT-108 S for approximately 5 miles until reaching the junction with I-89. Merge onto I-89 S and drive for about 11 miles. Take exit 10 for Waterbury and continue on US-2 E toward Waterbury Village. After about 2 miles, turn left onto Little River Rd. Continue for about 1 mile, and you will find Little River State Park on your right. Be aware that parking fees may apply.

Public Transportation
From Smugglers' Notch State Park, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to the nearest public transport hub, which is in Stowe. From there, take the Green Mountain Transit bus towards Waterbury. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as service may be limited. Once you arrive in Waterbury, you can either catch a local taxi or rideshare to Little River State Park, which is about 6 miles away. Keep in mind that public transportation may incur costs for both the bus fare and any additional rides.

For those who enjoy cycling, you can ride from Smugglers' Notch State Park to Little River State Park. Start by heading east on VT-108 S, then turn onto I-89 S using the bike path where available. After approximately 11 miles, take exit 10 for Waterbury and continue on US-2 E. Turn onto Little River Rd, and follow it until you reach the park. Ensure you have proper cycling gear and check local bike paths for safety.
