If you're starting from the center of Stowe, head north on Main Street towards the intersection with Route 108. Continue on Main Street until you reach the junction with Route 108. Turn left onto Route 108. Follow Route 108, which will lead you towards Smugglers Notch. The walk is approximately 3 miles and will take you through scenic views of the mountains.
