Getting there

Car

From Cat Ba Town, head southeast on the main road towards the direction of Viet Hai Village. The road is well-marked. After approximately 20 minutes, you will reach the entrance of Viet Hai Village. Here, you may need to pay a small entrance fee to access the village, which is typically around 20,000 VND (about $1 USD). Once in Viet Hai, follow the signs leading to the trekking paths towards the Navy Peak Telecom Tower. The trek will take about 1-2 hours depending on your pace.

Motorbike Rental

Rent a motorbike in Cat Ba Town for a more adventurous trip. Follow the same route towards Viet Hai Village. Make sure to have a valid driver's license and wear a helmet. The rental cost is usually around 100,000 VND ($4 USD) per day. After reaching Viet Hai, continue on foot through the trekking paths to the Navy Peak Telecom Tower.
